Jimmy Braddock

After years of searching for peace and fulfillment through alcohol and other destructive pursuits, I reached a place of total despair and cried out to God for help. Instead of letting my life end, God redirected it. A short stay in treatment led me to AA, where working the steps, sponsoring others, and serving laid a foundation for healing. Yet it wasn’t until I fully surrendered to the God who had rescued me that I experienced true freedom and purpose—what I now understand as being restored to a “state of usefulness.”

For more than 15 years, God has allowed me to walk with hundreds of people in Christ-centered recovery settings, witnessing addictions broken and families restored. My life continues to be a testimony of His grace, reflected in my amazing wife of almost 35 years, Julie, and our two beautiful adult daughters, Keli and Karis. I now have the privilege of serving as a Regional Coach/Coordinator for both Recovery Church Movement and Reboot Recovery.

“…if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” — Acts 20:24
