Paul is the director of Bridge of Hope Counseling Center and a licensed professional counselor in the state of South Carolina. He also works at First Baptist Church of Lexington, where he serves as Pastor of Recovery and Global Impact.  

He grew up and returned to Japan as a missionary where he served 8 years along with Susan his wife.  Paul received his graduate degree in counseling from Columbia International University in 2001 and worked several years in private practice before coming to FBLEX. He is the proud father of 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren.  

Paul is the author of Recovering from Dysfunction: You are Not Alone.

Paul is passionate about helping individuals address their mental health from an integrated approach that utilized biblical principles along with evidence-based treatment.
